In addition to elements such as costume, set and lighting design, along with the soundtrack and apparatuses used in scene, contemporary circus aesthetics and its diversity are the focus of this round table, which presents a panorama of the recent worldwide production.

The guests will debate new ways to produce circus arts: choosing conceptual, philosophical, historical and dramaturgical aspects, the technical and technological solutions employed and the incorporation of other artistic languages, such as theater and dance.

The conversation is based on excerpts from shows performed during the festival. It will be mediated by Giulia Cooper, an actress, clown, juggler and founder of the circus-theater group Caravana Tapioca. Roberto Magro is an artist, playwright, director and founder of Rital Brocante. Diana Bloch performs in circus since 2004. She was part of the company Intrépida Trupe from 2012 to 2014 and Sarabanda (Italy) during 2014 and 2015. Raquel Karro is an actress and set designer. She has performed as trapeze artist and dancer at Cirque du Soleil.
