Based on a book by Lygia Bojunga Nunes. Directed by Eduardo Goldenstein, the film tells the story of Maria (Bia Goldenstein), a girl who was born in a traveling circus. Daughter of balancers, Maria is taken to live with her grandmother in the city by her godparents, a bearded lady and a fire-eater. From her bedroom window, she creates an imaginary tightrope in search of her lost memories, gathering the strength to face a tragic moment in her life and finally being able to move on.
