The adventures of Peter Pan and Wendy, characters from the classic 1911 novel by J. M. Barrie, are narrated from a female perspective, with Wendy as the protagonist. The sweet girl who loves to tell stories is now an adult and is visited by Peter, who doesn’t remember his past. She becomes a child again, relearning how to fly and returning with him to Neverland.

“Unlike Peter, Wendy has matured and doesn’t forget her experiences. She is the heroine who knows what she wants”, says Ziza Brisola, who plays Wendy and Captain Hook, while Patrícia Rizzi plays Peter Pan. The two actresses are joined on stage by characters rendered by light and shadows.

The play combines circus arts, theater, contemporary dance and kung-fu. A four-meter high iron prop tree is the staging space and also the support for flights suspended by fabrics, elastics, bands and ropes. The characters navigate the structure throughout the performance and transform the set into the different locations where the story takes place. Wendy and Peter mark the 20th anniversary of Companhia Linhas Aéreas.
